With the holidays fast approaching and the year coming to an end, we normally sit down and start planning the next calendar year. For attorneys whom practice in the Charlotte-Metro region, we consult the Mecklenburg Court Holiday Schedule and the surrounding districts:

- Union County Court
Anyone whom is a parent understands the correlation between school holidays and family trips.
Lawyers offering help with Criminal, Traffic or DWI / DUI cases do the same thing. . .making certain to consider when Judges will not be working and courts are closed.

That may seem odd; yet, the process of justice is complicated. Things pop up. Clients whom have let matters go somehow seem to get arrested during holidays, vacations and weekends.
As an attorney whom has been actively practicing for over 20 years, I have just found it easier to pattern my personal life, schedule, vacations and continuing legal education on the court docket and holiday calendar.
Fortunately I have a wife whom understands; well, most of the time she understands.
